- Wire Clippers
- Zip Ties and/or Hot Glue
This easy DIY wreath can be made in a matter of minutes and won’t break the bank! All of the supplies we used to make this hoop wreath were found at Walmart.
Tips for Working with Hoop Wreaths
If you are the type of person who wants to be able to switch things around frequently, then this is a wreath you can very quickly secure using just floral wire and zip ties. However, if you plan to hang your wreath in a high-traffic area, I would highly suggest securing everything with hot glue, so it doesn’t fall off anytime someone shuts a door too hard.
Once you have planned out how to make your wreath, the next step is to arrange the florals and greenery. Again, you will want to lay everything out and get a good visual of what you are doing before you start snipping your floral stems and securing things down.
Pro Tip: Use masking or painter’s tape to mark where you want items to be placed on your hoop wreath.
Generally, a hoop wreath typically only has half the wreath covered in floral to help achieve the modern look. However, this is not to say you cannot break this rule and do your own thing.
Once you are ready to start securing things, start with the greenery and build up to the floral.
Super simple, and the result was gorgeous!

Cherry Blossom Hoop Wreath
Make a simple floral hoop wreath for under $10
Materials
- Faux Pink Cherry Blossom Flowers
- Faux Lamb’s Ear
- Gold Hoop
- 4 Zip Ties
Tools
- Glue Gun
- Wire Cutters
Instructions
Play around and arrange your faux floral and greenery into an arrangement that you like.
Using your wire cutters, trim down the lamb’s ear and the cherry blossom leaving a few inches of the stem available to use to attach to the gold hoop.
Next lay both ends of the lamb’s ear so the leaves are opposite of each other and the stems are together. Using two zip ties, attach the stems to the hoop.
Use hot glue to add a small amount to one leaf of the lamb’s ears on either side of the hoop.
Use two zip ties to attach the cherry blossoms to the center of your hoop wreath. If needed, hang your wreath to gauge where the center falls.
Next use the wire cutters to trim the remaining pieces of the zip ties so they don’t stick out.
Add a tad of hot glue to the cherry blossoms to further secure them.
Then hang and enjoy!
