Tips for Making This Dollar Tree Bathroom Sign
We all have those cute wooden block signs that we use to decorate our homes, so grab one you’re not using. Or go to the dollar store and grab a few wooden block signs; you never know what craft we will show you next! I love when I can reuse something for a different craft or decor.
How do you get the letters off the old sign you are going to use?
Easy peasy, grab some rubbing alcohol and a paper towel, and it will take the preprinted text from the wooden block. If the letters do not come off, then go ahead and paint the block whatever color you want.
How do I get the letters centered on the sign?
Measure where the middle is on the sign and put the word “Filthy” first, then the other words will fit on top and bottom. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just made with love.
How do I get it from not getting damaged from the humidity from the bathroom?
You seal with waterproof Mod Podge or Polycrylic Protective Wood Finish.
