Dollar Tree Jingle Bell Ornaments
No need to spend a lot of money on ornaments this year when you can make these jingle bell ornaments yourself! I love to create, so I pick a weekend day in October and make all kinds of holiday decor- mostly with Dollar Tree items. These bells are super fun to make, and guess what you don’t even need a Cricut to make the letters.
Supplies:
- Copper Spray Paint
- Black Spray Paint
- 2 Dollar Tree White Bell Ornaments
- Dollar Tree Black Rub on Transfers
- Dollar Tree Gold Rub on Transfers
- Scissors
Tips for Making Christmas Bell Ornaments
This craft won’t be done in a day, nope! First, you need to spray paint the bells then let them dry overnight. But the rest of the craft will only take you 5 minutes. Super easy and quick.
I will give you one vital tip: make sure you know where you want your letters to be placed. I make a dot on where I want the bottom of the letter to line up at, and the rub on letter will cover the dot, so no harm done. You will want to plan this out because once you put the rub on letter down it is stuck on there for good.
Another fun Christmas ornament to make is our DIY Snowman Face Glitter Filled Ornament.

Materials
- Copper Spray Paint
- Black Spray Paint
- 2 Dollar Tree White Bell Ornaments
- Dollar Tree Black Rub on Transfers
- Dollar Tree Gold Rub on Transfers
Tools
- Scissors
Instructions
- Remove greenery from the ornament. It should be attached by a small wire that you can untie, so you can tie back on later.
- Spray one bell with copper spray paint.
- Spray other bell with black spray paint.
- Let dry overnight.
- Cut out letters for wording you want on bells.
- Apply rub on transfers to bells (I just used my finger nail to apply the rub on transfers).
TIP: Make sure you know how you want the letters spaced before you put the rub on transfer down because once you put it down it will stick automatically.
