Tips for Making a Christmas Garland with Your Cricut

The best part of this craft is my Cricut will be doing most of the work. So get creative with your Cricut machine by crafting with felt! It’s not complicated, but here are a few things you need to know.

We all know how dirty a Cricut mat can get, so I have a tip for you- lay down some clear contact paper sticky side up on your cutting mat before beginning. Then place the felt material onto it and cut around it so just the back of your felt is covered with this liner.

Oh yeah, since felt has many fibers, make sure to clean the tip in between cuttings.

Using tweezers to place the smaller pieces of felt is highly recommended. Also, if you have a hot glue gun with a precision tip, that would come in handy because too much glue can seep through the felt, so the tip will help add a fine line where needed.
