Tips for Making Snowflake Hot Chocolate Bombs

The easiest way to make the snowflake’s details pop is by using the piping bag method, which allows you access into each of the deep sections of your molds.

For best results, be sure to freeze the molds for five minutes before pouring another color layer into the mold. Watch out; you might find yourself doing test tasting several times during this process, or is that just me.

To make sure the shell won’t break, you need to create a thick but even amount of chocolate on the sides of the molds.

I love me some white chocolate hot cocoa, so that is what I use, but if you’re not a fan, then go ahead and use milk chocolate. Add in the marshmallows, and you can’t forget the sprinkles—so much yummy goodness in one little bomb.

This recipe makes six Snowflake Hot Chocolate Bombs but feel free to double it if you need more for family and friends who love getting these as gifts.
