Gather your supplies:  Hollow Plastic Skull  Crushed Glass Vase Filler  White, Black and Gold Acrylic Paint Floral Foam Poly-Fill, optional Paint Brushes Craft Knife  Hot Glue Gun & Glue

Cut out a large portion of one eye and a part of the face of the skull and discard.

Add Poly-Fill to the inside of the skull.

Add floral foam to the top of the Poly-Fill.

This will create the geode cavity.

Add a small amount of hot glue to the top of the Poly-Fill.

DollarCrafter.com

Immediately cover with the glass vase filler.

Wait 2-3 minutes until it dries and shake off the loose pieces.

Repeat until the foam area is filled.

Then paint the skull grey.

Use hot glue to add additional crystals outside the cavity.

Hot glue around the edge of the cavity.

And immediately add crystals.

Using gold paint, paint the edging of the cavity.

Make sure to get an even coating of gold all the way around the cavity.

And then wait for your geode skull to dry before placing it out on display!
